Celebrate Summer Wins
My rising HS senior is working toward transfer to UNCC college of computing & informatics.
He needed Calc II this fall, but hit two issues:
1. He hadn’t attempted Calc I, and
2. His CC wasn’t offering Calc II this semester.
He ended up doing a Khan Academy Calc I class online over the summer and taking the Calc CLEP exam.
Now he is enrolled online at another CC taking Calc II in addition to his “regular” classes at the local CC.
I’m proud of his hard work.
THAT’s how you do it!! Way to go!! Also, self-teaching calc 1? Impressive :p
