This is a group cohort model. Institute for Excellence in Writing (IEW) is a homeschool writing program. Christian Halls is a Christian-based learning community. In this program, Christian Halls students enroll, as a cohort, in college courses through Southeastern University. This program specifically uses IEW as the framework, so students enroll and complete IEW while taking English 1 and English 2 through the college. This program works best for those who are already enrolled in Christian Halls, like using IEW, and want to take college classes with their Christian Hall peers. Students must pay for membership in Christian Halls and their IEW curriculum, in addition to dual enrollment tuition at Southeastern University.
