Pro Tip: Northwestern uses quarter hours instead of the more common semester hours. When colleges convert quarter hours into semester hours, some colleges award 2.66 credits (not 3.0) which may present a deficiency for meeting a core requirement. We recommend not using a 4-quarter hour course for important freshman core prerequisites like English Composition 1 or 2.
About: Open to rising juniors and seniors who are at least age 15 on the first day of class. Students must have a 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale. High school transcript is required.
