Program Overview
- Two free courses per student.
- Courses count toward both high school and college credit.
- Parents can award 1 high school credit per course.
- All courses are online and synchronous, with mandatory attendance at specific times.
Who’s Eligible?
This opportunity is available to high school juniors and seniors (or homeschooling students finishing high school requirements) with a minimum GPA of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale (or 80 on a 100-point scale).
Advising & Registration Process
- Upon enrollment, students will be assigned an Anna Maria ID number and an Anna Maria email address, which will serve as the primary communication channel.
- The Director of Dual Enrollment will provide a comprehensive orientation, covering the Engage Learning Management System and other essential resources.
- The Director will also serve as the student’s contact for advising and support throughout their enrollment, in addition to the guidance provided by course instructors.
Full College Experience with Homeschool Flexibility
Even though dual enrollment students are considered non-degree-seeking at Anna Maria College, they have access to the same academic resources as full-time students. The program provides a structured college environment that fits seamlessly within the homeschool model, allowing families to maintain autonomy while offering high-level educational opportunities.
For those who choose to apply to Anna Maria College after high school graduation, the application fee is waived, and students receive a Dual Enrollment grant toward their college tuition.
