The Power of Volunteers Who Stay

Homeschooling for College Credit is built on something rare. Not money. Not marketing. Not corporate funding. We are built on people who stay.

Our entire organization is volunteer powered. Eight of our volunteers have been serving this community for more than 10 years. Fifteen more have served for more than 5 years. These are busy homeschooling parents, working professionals, and experienced mentors who generously give their time because they believe in helping families get through college without debt.

Their dedication is how we are able to support more than 75,000 families each year. It is how we maintain over 60 Facebook groups, answer hundreds of parent questions each week, and keep our guidance free. In 2025 alone, our volunteers logged more than 18,000 hours. That level of service is almost unheard of in the nonprofit world.

We continue to offer guidance with zero cost to families. We teach live workshops, share planning tools, publish free guides, maintain our website, and help teens earn their first potential college credit. We have awarded more than $5000 in scholarships and hosted over 300 free in person and online events. Every bit of this work is driven by a shared commitment to serve the homeschooling community.

As Executive Director, I am a careful steward of our small budget. The truth is that HS4CC runs on far less than most organizations our size. We make every dollar stretch. We do not charge for membership. We do not place content behind paywalls. We offer everything we can for free because we believe cost should never be a barrier to opportunity.

But to continue growing our programs and supporting more families, we need your help. Your Giving Tuesday donation will keep our website online, support our volunteers, expand our scholarship fund, and provide new tools for parents.

If HS4CC has helped your teen earn credit, if our moderators have supported you, or if you have ever learned something valuable from our posts, I hope you will consider giving today. Your donation keeps HS4CC strong for every family who needs us.
