Today I need to share some difficult news with our community.
Over the past 24 hours, HS4CC Academy was targeted by actions taken by our former volunteer who held a key administrative role within HS4CC Academy and the Homeschooling for College Credit organization. She used her administrative access to delete our Google scholarship program. This was not an accident; it was intentional. This malicious act was intended to hurt me by hurting you and the rest of our organization.
I am doing everything in my power to regain access for those of you using Tri-Credit, Google Certificates, and Google Family.
Additionally, I have secured every HS4CC Academy system, and all are fully under my direct control. I take full responsibility for not identifying this vulnerability sooner, and can assure you that I won’t make that mistake again.
As a precaution, if you receive an email or message claiming to represent HS4CC or HS4CC Academy from any other email address, do not respond or click any links, as it may be a further attack.
HS4CC has served homeschooling families with integrity since 2012. We have built one of the most trusted homeschool organizations in the country because we put families first. One person’s actions will not undo 14 years of hard work and service.
With gratitude for your continued trust,
Jennifer Cook-DeRosa, Executive Director, Homeschooling for College Credit, Inc. /HS4CC Academy
