Coming in at $150, Trine University Dual Enrollment is among the best price options in the USA. Homeschool students from any state can enroll, and they have a lot of courses! This dual enrollment program is fully online asynchronous (no set meeting times) all courses are taught by regular Trine professors, and they even accept CLEP. Tuition

Tuition is $50 per credit (most courses are 3 credits = $150)

To find when tuition is due you can visit Trine’s dual enrollment billing site to see the dates for the current term. Remember that bill will be sent out after the term starts and will be addressed to your student.  To pay for your student’s tuition, you can pay by phone or using our one-time payment site.

How to Enroll

  1. Apply – If you have never taken a course at Trine, you will need to submit an application. Follow the instructions provided for applying to Trine’s dual enrollment program.
  2. Find Available Courses –  Use the course search page to explore the available courses.
  3. Submit Course Request – Once you’ve applied and found your desired course, you can submit a course request.
  4. Enrollment – After you’re officially enrolled in a course, you will receive a confirmation email that includes your class schedule.

CLEP Acceptance

A maximum of 90 transfer credits from college/university transfer courses, college-level examinations, military coursework, or experiential learning can apply toward a baccalaureate degree. Up to 45 transfer credits can apply toward an associate degree.

These pathways allow you to make informed decisions when choosing a dual enrollment course. Dual Enrollment Certificate Program 

You can earn one of four professional certifications as a student in Trine University’s dual enrollment program. Providing college-level learning at greatly reduced tuition rates, Trine’s certificates allow you to gain in-demand skills along with industry-recognized credentials, giving you an advantage whether you continue on to college or the workforce.

What certificate programs are available?

Trine University offers the following certificate programs to dual-enrollment students:Accounting

The Accounting certificate will prepare you for jobs in public accounting, private industry, government and non-profit organizations. You also will be equipped to pursue an accounting degree.

Coursework explores topics that include processing accounting information, accrual accounting, budgeting, comprehensive accounting theory and practice, basic concepts of tax law, and income tax preparation and research. Students will develop their accounting skills by using tools to complete the accounting cycle, including software applications.
